A Visit to Sandra Mansour

In Paris I had the chance to meet one of the most inspiring designers. Sandra a Lebanese designer born and raised in Switzerland where all her inspiration comes from.

After studying in Geneva, she decided to get back to her country ( lebanon) where she worked with one of the most amazing designers of all time ELIE SAAB. Sandra mentioned that this opportunity gave her the boost she needed to start her own line.  Its all about the materials that was mostly her focus to define and reach the quality she planned to.

Her taste in designs and fabrics are exquisite, simple and elegant almost like a timeless piece with a twist. I got to witness her fall/winter 13 collection which was perfectly combined.

my favorite piece

What makes her brand stand out more than others is not only her great designs but also her great enthusiasm with her customers. She has a great team that really studied their market well before getting into the retail business and they work really hard to deliver what their clients desire.

PLUS THE GREAT CHOICE IN CHOCOLATES

Custom made Patchi chocolates

Sandra also custom makes wedding dresses according to the Bride to be's personal taste.

I truly am one of her biggest fans Its such an inspiration to have Arab role models that worked hard to achieve their dreams.

Isabel Marant Pour H&M

Its that time of the year.. where H&M finally announces their Fall Winter collaboration.

This November its Isabel Marant

Isabel Marant a Persian designer that lived in France most of her life. For most of you who dont know this she has started her success in designing jewelry first then knit wear before dispatching her first successful collection I dont think she would have been this successful if its wasn't for her awesome sneakers a must have in your closet piece.

Once again H&M gives us a chance to purchase a limited piece .She will be displaying clothing as well and for the first time in her career she will dispatch a collection for MEN.

Masculin, chic, comfortable and perfect.

Cant wait x collection will be in stores and online on November the 14th.

Just found out what H&M stands for Hennes & Mauritz.

When In Rome

Walking in Rome is like walking through history.. That is the feedback I heard since I have ever been alive. This year I finally visited Rome.

Have you ever felt that your stepping on culture or your walking through a movie thats how wondering in Rome felt like. So much culture, so much beauty and so much history was spilled into this magnificent city Never understood how people prefered Milan. I understand the shopping capital but I think Rome's shopping experience is under estimated its equivalent to shopping in history.

The Vatican also referred as the Holy City, list it before you die must do. The architecture and art is combination of the worlds most famous leaders. The stories that has been told and witnessed in the painting are a never ending tale. I recall that the tourist lady mentioned that it will take a person weeks do get the chance to see all art pieces.

The Trevi Fountain

I have no idea how I always thought that it was a wishing well kind of fountain apparently they throw a coin to ensure another visit to Rome. This fountain is a huge deal for tourists they estimated 3,000 euros a day it certainly grabbed Fendi's attention they will sponsor a 20-month, 2.2 million euro restoration of the fountain; it will be the most thorough restoration in the fountain's history.

Rome had its touch of Art and colors people seemed to wait for the good weather to display their work.  Apparently Italians can draw and what surprised me that they did underestimate their work either they were unlucky to get discovered or too greedy to think of a future of their careers.
